  • 10' x 10' Anything larger requires town approval.

Are garages allowed?

  • Yes, size is relative to your lot size.

Can I have a basement?

  • Basements may be permitted if a geotechnical assessment confirms suitable site conditions.

What types of homes are permitted?

  • Manufactured homes and slab-on-grade homes are permitted within The Meadows. Maximum Building Height is 5.0m, and the maximum Units/Hectare is 30.

Are other housing types allowed?

  • Semi-detached homes, row housing, and multi-unit residential developments may be considered as discretionary uses and are subject to municipal review and approval.

Site Information

How is safety addressed with the pond?

  • The pond is an ornamental water feature and it is not fenced.

  • Children should be accompanied by a parent at all times.

Financial Information

When does the down payment have to be submitted?

  • A 10% deposit is required to hold a lot.

How much are taxes?

  • The Town of Taber regulates the taxes and will be able to provide the homeowner with the tax amount relative to the value of the home and lot.

How much are condo fees?

  • $75 per month.

  • They are effective as soon as the home is placed on the lot or construction commences.
